Walker Business and Staffing Services will save our clients money and a great deal of frustration associated with hiring new office staff for one day or longer periods of time.

We are members of the National Association of Staffing Services, and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). These organizations provide education and information to our staff keeping us abreast of all legislation and legal issues associated with our business and our client's business. We share this information with our clients so they too can be aware of any changes that will affect them.

Temporary Placement

Increase your staff and productivity on an as needed basis with employees who have the qualifications you require.

Our applicants have been interviewed, tested and references checked prior to sending them to you for consideration. We also perform background investigations on candidates before they are considered for any position.

The employee's salary, payroll taxes, workers' compensation and unemployment insurance are calculated and paid by Walker Business and Staffing. Clients are billed an hourly rate based on weekly time sheets approved by their supervisor.

Temporary employees are immediately able to purchase health insurance at a discounted rate, become a member of BJ's Wholesale club, and earn paid time off which is paid by Walker Business and Staffing

Walker Business and Staffing Services, Inc. can save businesses money and time with our direct hire service.

Send us a job description of the position you need to fill and our computerized database will locate applicants with the experience and qualifications your company requires.

You or your staff will have the opportunity to interview from resumes of our most qualified applicants. A one-time placement fee is charged if and when a Walker Business and Staffing Services, Inc. applicant is hired.

PAYROLL SERVICE

If you have identified the employee(s) you would like to hire, WBSS will add them to our payroll. The employees' wages, payroll taxes, workers' compensation insurance are calculated and paid by WBSS.

Employment Tips

SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEWING SUGGESTIONS: PRIOR TO THE INTERVIEW Ask to see a copy of the Job Description or ask them to explain the position. Ask if there will be an application to complete prior to the interview so you can arrive earlier to complete necessary paperwork. Make sure to get driving directions to the location and be sure to get the company phone number and extension of the person you are interviewing with in case you get lost. Make sure to ask about parking. You may need to pay for parking if you are going to a large city. Ask how many people you will be interviewing with and approximately how long should you plan for the inteview to last.
